Welcome to NCWG Cadet Programs

Welcome to the new home for Cadet Programs in North Carolina Wing. This is a new tool mainly to disseminate information, provide a knowledge base and collaboration among CAP members. We're still just getting started here, so bear with us while we sort things out. We're starting with Encampment and expect many other topics to come online very soon.

Cadet Programs is one of the three primary missions of Civil Air Patrol. It involves young men and women between the ages of 12 and 21 in leadership opportunities they can apply to a future military career or professional career path. While we have direct ties to the United States Air Force, we are still a volunteer, civilian organization. Much of our structure comes from the Air force and we wear their uniform (with a few modifications for CAP members) with pride. This web site focuses on Cadet Programs at the state level in North Carolina.
